Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our forward-thinking engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components across diverse projects. Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo, including schematics, drafting, and system layouts.
  • Perform mechanical analysis utilizing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools to validate design integrity under various conditions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical failures or performance issues to identify solutions and prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate programmable logic controllers (PLCs), LabVIEW, MATLAB, Simulink, Arduino, and other control systems into mechanical designs.
  • Ensure designs adhere to ASME codes & standards and industry best practices for safety, quality, and manufacturability.
  • Manage project scheduling to meet deadlines while coordinating with manufacturing teams for prototype development and production.
  • Support manufacturing processes by creating detailed schematics, system design documentation, and technical specifications for CNC machining and other fabrication methods.

Experience

  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering roles with a strong background in mechanical design, system integration, and CAD drafting.
  • Hands-on knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo for creating detailed models and assemblies.
  • Familiarity with FEA tools for structural analysis and validation of mechanical components.
  • Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), LabVIEW, MATLAB, Simulink, Arduino, and related control systems is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, drafting standards, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Understanding of ASME codes & standards applicable to mechanical design and system safety.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex mechanical issues using systematic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong foundation in mechanical knowledge spanning thermodynamics, materials science, fluid mechanics, and system design principles.
