Server/Waiter

Server Job Description

*MUST BE AT LEAST 21 OR OLDER TO SERVE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES*

Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations regarding food and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guest
- Process guest payments using cash register or POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and dining room

Experience:
- Previous experience as a server in the food service industry preferred
- Strong sales skills and ability to upsell menu items
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Cooperation and teamwork abilities is a must

Please note that this position requires standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
