Experienced Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
• Maintain infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and managing the cleanliness of the treatment area.
• Take medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Utilize 3D scanning technology to capture accurate impressions for dental restorations.
• Support four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Document patient interactions, treatments, and progress in electronic health records accurately.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient files.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of infection control practices in a dental setting.
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
• Experience in dental assisting with a focus on patient care and comfort.
• Familiarity with 3D scanning technology for precise dental impressions.
• Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively.
• Understanding of endodontics and related procedures is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to dental health.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Be ready to work and not be on the phone during office hours
• Please be able to come to work on time and during working hours
