About the Position

We are an award-winning and fast-growing company within the tech sector. We are seeking a Warehouse Associate (Receiving) to join our team. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented, ready, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. The candidate must be well-versed in inventory control, material handling, customer service, distribution routing and planning, and general operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by leading, organizing, and training team members and strategizing and executing operational goals.
  • Will be responsible for accurately receiving and stocking all items that come through the warehouse.
  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse by inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Assist the Location Manager with daily and weekly KPI monitoring to ensure service levels are met or exceeded.
  • Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Regularly review, analyze, and develop actionable productivity and loss prevention plans.
  • Manages shipping and receiving of products and maintains electronic ticket updates and status.
  • Own the process for claims of lost or damaged shipments for customers to drive fast resolution.

Background, Experience& Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of warehouse management experience; Supply Chain Management or other relative bachelor's degree will be taken into consideration for gaps of experience.
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of computer and mobile devices
  • Experience in ISO-certified facility/organization preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
  • Experience with WMS (warehouse management systems), ERP systems, and e-commerce platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office (Excel) skills required.
  • Excellent people skills. Should be comfortable working in a team environment and with other departments

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Heavy lifting will be a requirement.
  • Walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting several times a day.
  • Must be able to handle 40 lb. boxes.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $ $17.00 per hour
