*About Takeoff*
Takeoff is a fully remote digital agency specializing in enterprise B2B website design and development. With 200+ successful launches under our belt, we partner with leading enterprise clients on transformational website projects that drive real business outcomes. We handle 15-20 redesign projects annually, combining strategic thinking with flawless execution to deliver websites that perform.
Our team works on sophisticated projects for enterprise B2B and SaaS clients—the kind of work that challenges you, expands your skillset, and looks incredible in your portfolio. We're not a factory churning out cookie-cutter sites; we're building custom, high-impact digital experiences that solve complex business problems.
*The Role*
We're looking for a *Mid-Level Project Manager* who thrives at the intersection of strategy, technology, and client relationships. You'll own the full project lifecycle—from discovery and strategy through design, development, and launch—ensuring our clients' websites are delivered on time, on budget, and exceed expectations.
This isn't just project coordination; it's strategic partnership. You'll work directly with enterprise clients, translate their business goals into actionable project plans, and lead cross-functional teams (designers, developers, strategists, content specialists) to bring ambitious digital experiences to life.
*What You'll Do:*
* *Lead 3-5 enterprise website projects simultaneously* from kickoff to launch, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations
* *Own client relationships* as the primary point of contact, building trust and ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle
* *Navigate complexity* by managing dependencies across UX/visual design, content development, technical implementation, and third-party integrations
* *Manage project profitability* by monitoring budgets, forecasting resource needs, and identifying opportunities for scope optimization
* *Collaborate cross-functionally* with our UX designers, visual designers, developers, content strategists, and leadership team
* *Drive process improvements* by identifying opportunities to refine our delivery methodology and enhance client experience
* *Problem-solve proactively* when challenges arise—whether technical roadblocks, timeline shifts, or stakeholder misalignment
*What We're Looking For*
*Required Experience:*
* *2+ years of project management experience* specifically managing _marketing website_ projects (not product development or general IT)
* *Deep understanding of website project phases:* discovery, strategy, UX design, visual design, development, content implementation, QA, and launch
* *Strong grasp of web technologies:* You can have informed conversations about responsive design, CMS capabilities, site performance, accessibility, and SEO
* *Hands-on experience with at least one of: Webflow, WordPress, Framer:* You've worked in the backend, understand what's possible, and can troubleshoot alongside the QA and developer teams
*Bonus Points (Highly Valued):*
* *Agency experience* managing multiple clients and juggling competing priorities
* *Experience working with enterprise clients* on B2B or SaaS projects—you understand stakeholder management, complex approval processes, and navigating organizational politics
* *Budget and timeline management expertise:* You've successfully delivered projects on time and on budget (and recovered when things went sideways)
* *Knowledge of marketing, CRO, and conversion optimization:* You think beyond "ship the website" to "does this website achieve business goals?"
* *Design sensibility:* You can speak intelligently about user experience, visual design principles, and have a point of view on what makes great digital experiences
*Timezone Requirements:*
* *Location: *Remote (US, Canada or Europe)
* *Time Zone: Must have at least 3 hours overlap with EST/EDT for client meetings and team collaboration*
*Why Join Takeoff?*
*Work That Matters*
You'll lead transformational projects for enterprise clients—not small tweaks, but full-scale redesigns that move the needle on business outcomes. Our clients include established B2B and SaaS companies investing seriously in their digital presence.
