Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining or casual restaurant setting. Previous experience with POS systems and food handling is preferred, along with a strong commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Experience in sales, upselling, or guest relations enhances performance in this role
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling
• Prior host/host or bussing experience is a plus but not required
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced nightclub or restaurant setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
