Role Overview

We're looking for a
hybrid designer–engineer
who thrives at the intersection of
UI/UX design, front-end development, and AI workflows
. This role is ideal for someone who can move fluidly between
wireframing/prototyping
and
building functional system components and features in code
— with a mindset of speed, iteration, and polish.

You'll help shape both our design system and our engineering workflows by operationalizing tools like
Figma MCP, Figma Code Connect, v0, Claude Code, and other agentic platforms
. The right candidate will care deeply about design craft
and
engineering quality — and see AI as a multiplier across both.

What You'll Do

  • Design and prototype
    wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity UI
    in Figma.
  • Translate design concepts into
    code-based prototypes
    or production-ready components (React/React Native).
  • Build, maintain, and evolve
    design systems
    across both Figma and codebases.
  • Leverage
    AI/agentic tools
(Figma MCP, Code Connect, v0, Claude Code) to accelerate iteration and automation.
  • Rapidly test and validate ideas by moving between Figma prototypes and working code.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to ship features that balance speed, usability, and polish.
  • Share AI and workflow best practices across the design + engineering org.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–6 years of combined experience across product design and front-end engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a feature from concept to production.
  • Proficiency in
    Figma
    (components, variables, tokens, prototyping)
    and
    front-end frameworks (React/React Native preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with
    AI/agentic tools
(Figma MCP, v0, Claude Code, etc.).
  • Ability to balance
    design polish with engineering pragmatism
    — knowing when to move fast and when to refine.
  • Comfortable working independently and bridging disciplines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in consumer photo, social, or media products.
  • Motion/interaction skills, in design.
  • Prior experience introducing or scaling new workflows within a product/design org.
  • Boulder, Colorado, United States

Sprachkenntnisse
