Position Overview

HealthyU Clinics is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team and provide essential support to healthcare providers. This role involves both clinical and front-office responsibilities to ensure smooth patient care and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate patient records and update EHR systems

• Support front-office functions, including patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and referrals as necessary.

• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and minor procedures

• Prepare and sanitize examination rooms, ensuring compliance with safety protocols

• Collect and document patient history and vital signs accurately

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors

• Provide patient education and post-visit instructions

• Maintain and restock office and medical supplies as necessary

• Other duties as assigned

• Medical Assistant Certification required

• A minimum of 1 year experience as a medical assistant

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

• Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, EHR systems)

• Athena Experience highly preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Prolonged standing, bending, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)

Reliable transportation is required for all positions, as occasional travel to other clinic locations may be necessary.
