Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Foreman/ Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant electrical operations on construction sites and ongoing facilities. Applicant's must be able to read and interpret blueprints, manage manpower, and follow schedules. Starting salaries for qualified foreman range from $28-$32 with room for advancement. Hourly pay is based on knowledge, experience, and work ethic.

Our hours of operations are Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm with some over time. We offer benefits including medical insurance, a matching retirement plan, paid holidays and paid vacation time. D&T Electric contributes a set amount towards monthly health insurance premiums. Qualified Electrical Foreman will receive a company vehicle with a fuel card and a company phone.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in commercial applications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise electrical work
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety regulations
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation efforts
• Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers along with power tools for efficient installation
• Ability to work confidently on construction sites with experience in new and renovation work
• Hands-on experience with volt distribution and branch circuitry
