Light Production Assembler

Description: Cleveland Controls is a leader in the design, application and installation of controls and instrumentation to measure, and control air flow. Fast-paced environment and willing to train.

Hourly Rate: $18 per hour, plus $1.00 an hour differential for 2nd shift.

Currently Hiring For: 1st and 2nd shift

Hours:

1st shift - Monday - Thursday, 4:00am-2:30pm

2nd shift - Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm-1:30am

Responsibilities:

• Work within a team to assemble products and components repeatedly both on and off the assembly line.
• Adhering to detailed assembly procedures and work instructions.
• Read and interpret spec sheets to assemble components into finished products.
• Rotate through tasks to learn the entire production process for your assigned production line.
• Performing simple quality checks on individual parts and finished products
• Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish tasks.
• Positioning and aligning parts according to specifications
• Prepare products for shipment.
• Maintain an orderly and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly is beneficial, but not mandatory.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Able to read and interpret spec sheets of products.
• Able to lift and move a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time.
• Able to work with basic hand tools.
• Has a basic knowledge of computers.

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
