Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC & Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of a multifamily residential community. This role is ideal for a technician who is confident in HVAC diagnosis and repair, while also skilled in general property maintenance. You will help ensure resident satisfaction by maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning living environment.
Primary Responsibilities
HVAC Maintenance and Repair
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Perform seasonal HVAC servicing and ensure systems operate efficiently.
General Property Maintenance
- Complete routine and corrective maintenance across multiple trades, including:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Appliance repair
- Carpentry
- General building upkeep
- Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce operational disruptions.
- Respond to urgent and emergency maintenance requests; participate in the on-call rotation.
- Maintain accurate service logs, follow safety protocols, and ensure compliance with all property standards.
- Collaborate with onsite staff and provide professional, resident-focused service at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience in HVAC repair and maintenance; EPA Universal Certification or HVAC licensure preferred.
- Strong proficiency in general maintenance trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and complete repairs efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a commitment to resident satisfaction.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
