HVAC Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welders for repairs and installations.
• Collaborate with team members to design effective HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding system issues and recommended solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work performed.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including design principles and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.
• Ability to weld and perform basic fabrication tasks as needed for installations or repairs.
• Familiarity with refrigerant handling procedures and environmental regulations related to HVAC systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in HVAC technology or related fields are a plus.
