We are growing and looking for a positive, reliable, and motivated Front Desk & Sales Assistant who loves helping people, thrives in a customer-facing role, and has a passion for eyewear, aesthetics, or healthcare.

Position Overview

This role is a blend of front-office coordination, customer service, and optical sales. You are the first impression of our practice and play a key role in ensuring smooth daily flow, happy patients, and strong sales performance.

We will train the right candidate — experience in optical or medical office settings is a bonus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities Front Desk / Administrative

• Warmly greet patients and create a welcoming environment
• Answer phones, book appointments, confirm upcoming visits
• Check patients in/out, verify insurance eligibility, collect copays/balances
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Manage daily schedules to optimize patient flow
• Assist with filing, scanning, office organization, and inventory tasks
• Communicate professionally with patients, doctors, and vendors

Optical Sales & Customer Experience

• Guide patients in selecting frames based on style, fit, and lifestyle
• Recommend lens options, upgrades, coatings, and benefit maximization
• Educate patients on promotions, second-pair discounts, and annual supplies
• Assist with frame adjustments, minor repairs, and presentation of eyewear
• Upsell high-value products such as sunglasses, blue light lenses, and daily contacts
• Maintain an organized, visually appealing optical showroom
• Support monthly production goals and team sales initiatives

Based on experience, optical knowledge, professionalism, and sales ability.
