Part Time Janitor/Custodian

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Janitor/Custodian to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role is vital in ensuring that our facilities are spotless, well-maintained, and inviting for employees, visitors, and clients alike. As a key member of our facilities team, you will perform a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks with energy and attention to detail, contributing to the overall cleanliness and operational efficiency of our premises. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a polished appearance
• Conduct routine trash removal and recycling collection to uphold cleanliness standards
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained for safety and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries
• Support special cleaning projects such as industrial cleaning or deep sanitation efforts when required

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is REQUIRED
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
• Experience with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance is advantageous
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to maintaining a safe environment

Requirements:

• must have own reliable transportation
• must be able to speak/understand English fluently
• must have a working cell phone and reliable cell service for communication purpose
• must have good work ethic

Shift information:

• 3 days Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

• 4 hours max a shift starting 4pm-8pm

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 13.0 per week
