Veterinary CSR/Receptionist

Job Summary FT 10 x4 days per week
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for pet owners, providing excellent customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. This role requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
• Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries regarding services, treatments, and general animal care.
• Process payments and manage medical collections as needed.
• Assist veterinary staff with client education on animal care and treatment options.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and doctors to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years experience as CSR is required
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy is highly beneficial.
• Skills in animal handling, restraint, and catheterization are advantageous.
• Familiarity with kennel operations and dog training techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing exceptional care.
