Machine Operator

• No previous experience required. Applicant must be able to complete basic arithmetic (adding and subtracting numbers in both fractional and decimal form) to be considered qualified. All training for machine operation, print interpretation, and quality assurance provided on the job.
• Candidates with prior machining/manufacturing experience, those with a desire to progress towards a machinist career, or strong mechanical aptitude are preferred
• Work in comfort in a climate-controlled (a/c and heat) facility
• Operate machinery including CNC mills and lathes
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure part conformity per quality procedures.
• Interpret prints to ensure parts are machined according to print specifications.
• Produce quality standard parts in accordance with production schedule.
• Change, set and monitor tools being used in machining operations.
• Ensure professional communication to the following shift on status of the job and/or problems that have occurred.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure safety in the facility for all employees, visitors, and oneself.
• Proactively, positively, and constructively support the Exact Machine Corporation vision, mission, quality statements, and the general company direction at all times.
• Act as a role model in carrying out job duties assigned within this position, including strong work ethic, solid communications, creative problem solving, and a focus on getting results.
• All other duties as assigned.
