Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. Prior experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in housekeeping management and janitorial services within a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines
• Care for floors through sweeping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques
• Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure readiness for guest needs
• Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly to facilitate timely repairs
• Adhere to health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and custodial work
• Follow established procedures for waste disposal and environmentally friendly cleaning practices
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned

Experience

• Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services is highly desirable
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry is a plus
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care methods is beneficial
• Background in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 32.0 per week
