What You Will Do

• Support a mobile home park in San Jose
• Perform landscaping, plumbing, sewer, and electrical tasks to support daily and weekly property maintenance
• Replace work currently completed by outside vendors by taking full ownership of on-site maintenance needs
• Open clogged drains, fix leaks, address sewer issues, dig trenches and perform other similar plumbing jobs.
• Mow lawn, remove weeds and brush, and complete other yard work including leaf and debris removal.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and plumbing systems, which may require digging to reach water and sewer lines
• Touch-up painting and repaint buildings or rooms as required.
• Clean homes to prepare for sale.
• Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, replace fuses, meter repairs, and other similar electrical tasks.
• Perform simple carpentry tasks, such as installing doors, replacing locks and repairing steps, rails and fencing.
• Complete basic groundskeeping tasks including but not limited to picking up trash and debris and cleaning common areas.
• Assist with loading or unloading trucks and moving furniture when needed.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain grounds, landscape, and perform light maintenance
• Ability to respond to after hour emergencies.
• Ability to push, pull, lift 50 pounds.
• Plumbing, electrical, and sewage systems experience
• Basic computer knowledge
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening.

Pay And Benefits

• $27-30/hour DOE
• 30-40 hours a week
