Job Summary

Performs listed vascular testing procedures per IAC standard protocol. Assists in the implementation of procedures and participates in ongoing Performance Improvement program.

Expected Competency in the listed exams below but not limited to.

• Carotid Artery Duplex, Peripheral Venous/Arterial Duplex, Venous reflux testing, Hemodialysis graft/fistula, Abdominal Aorta, Mesenteric, Renal Artery, peripheral and abdominal graft/stents, peripheral vein mapping, ABI, Segmental Pressure.

Education/Training

• Associate's degree/ Bachelor's degree/certification in Vascular Ultrasound required.
• 1 year experience in vascular sonography is required, 2+ years is preferred

License/Certification/Registration

ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) registration or registry-eligible in Vascular Technology, or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
