POSITION SUMMARY

As a Top-Level Automotive Repair Technician at Jeremi's Auto Repair, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. You will uphold the highest standards of workmanship, ensuring every repair is done right the first time while providing honest and transparent communication with both the team and customers. OBJECTIVES

  • Pinpoint mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues with precision and efficiency. No guessing
  • Perform complete and thorough repairs on all makes/models, including brakes, suspension, engine, transmission, and more.
  • Work directly with service advisors to explain issues and necessary repairs in a way that builds customer trust.
  • Identify current and potential future issues, ensuring every vehicle leaves safer than it arrived.
  • Keep your bay and tools in top shape to maximize efficiency.
  • Learn new repair techniques and technologies as vehicles evolve.
  • Verify that every repair is done right the first time before returning the vehicle to the customer.

  • Ensures precise diagnosis and high-quality repairs with no guesswork involved.
  • Critical for accurately diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues.
  • Owns the quality of work and ensures every repair is done right the first time.
  • Embraces new repair techniques and technologies as vehicles evolve.
  • Works closely with service advisors and potentially other technicians to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • ASE Certification - Required or be willing to obtain
  • 5+ Years of Experience – You know your way around a wrench.
  • Problem-Solving Mastery – You don't guess—you diagnose.

  • $25-45 per hour depending on experience and certifications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods while working on vehicles.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly (e.g., tires, parts, tools).
  • Manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment with precision.
