Dishwasher

Zu Izakaya is a casual and energetic Japanese-style restaurant and bar near ASU. We serve sushi, small plates, and drinks in a lively setting. We're currently hiring dishwashers to join our back-of-house team and help keep our kitchen running smoothly.

Job Description:
Dishwashers play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and supporting the kitchen team. This is a great entry-level position for anyone looking to grow in the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dish area, kitchen, and storage
• Assist with trash removal and cleaning tasks
• Restock cleaned dishes and tools where needed
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Support kitchen staff as needed

Qualifications:

• No experience required (training provided)
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods
• Evening and weekend availability preferred
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Arizona Food Handler Card
