Position Overview
The Customer Service Supervisor will lead the customer service team and act as a key link between clients, warehouse operations, billing, and routing. This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, along with solid hands-on experience in core 3PL functions such as EDI, billing, VAS, and transloading.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor customer service representatives while maintaining high service standards.
- Manage EDI workflows—including order transmission, ASNs, routing requests, labeling, and troubleshooting errors.
- Oversee billing accuracy for storage, handling, VAS services, transloading, transportation, and fulfillment.
- Coordinate VAS (Value-Added Services) tasks such as labeling, kitting, rework, packaging, and special projects.
- Support and monitor transloading activities, including inbound receiving, cross-docking, and outbound scheduling.
- Ensure all customer routing requirements and shipping guidelines are followed.
- Maintain strong communication between customer service, warehouse operations, transportation, and accounting teams.
- Review and maintain SOPs for customer service, EDI, billing, VAS, and transloading workflows.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Analyze performance metrics such as order accuracy, billing accuracy, EDI turnaround, and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with onboarding new customers, including setup of EDI, VAS expectations, billing rules, and routing requirements.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of customer service experience in a 3PL, logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment.
- High School Diploma/GED plus 2+ years of experience OR a relevant technical certificate.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience is required.
- Hands-on experience in:
- EDI processes
- Billing and invoicing for 3PL services
- VAS (Value-Added Services) such as labeling, kitting, and repacking
- Transloading and/or cross-dock operations
- Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team, resolve issues quickly, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems and strong attention to detail.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build strong relationships.

Pay: $60, $70,304.00 per year
