Assistant Manager – Radnor Racquet Club
We are seeking a motivated, tech-savvy Assistant Manager to join our team at Radnor Racquet Club. This role is a blend of club operations, light property management, and high-touch customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable with iOS and basic software tools, and confident dealing with a wide range of personalities while keeping things running smoothly day-to-day.
Key Responsibilities
Club & Member Operations
· Handle billing processes: track payments, resolve member questions, and maintain accurate records.
· Manage scheduling for lessons, events, and court reservations.
· Oversee the inter-club tennis team, including scheduling, communication, and general coordination.
· Maintain and distribute club communications (emails, newsletters, announcements) to keep members informed and engaged.
· Provide exceptional, friendly customer service to members and guests, even in challenging situations.
Property-Related Responsibilities
· Assist with basic property management tasks related to the club and surrounding facilities (e.g., communicating issues to ownership, coordinating with vendors, tracking resolutions).
· Help monitor the condition of shared spaces and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
· Interact professionally with other tenants, vendors, and contractors, sometimes navigating strong personality dynamics while remaining calm, respectful, and solutions-focused.
Marketing & Materials
· Design and produce promotional materials such as brochures, newsletters, posters, and flyers.
· Support on-site marketing efforts and help maintain a polished and welcoming club environment (light cleaning is expected)
Technology & Systems
· Utilize iOS devices and applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) effectively to manage operations and assist members.
· Assist with general technical tasks and basic troubleshooting as needed (printers, devices, simple software issues, etc.).
Qualifications
· Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills and the ability to stay composed and professional with a variety of personalities.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Prior experience in a customer service, hospitality, administrative, or managerial role is a plus.
· Experience with billing, scheduling, or office administration is highly desirable.
· Ability to create or learn to create simple promotional materials (brochures, posters, flyers, etc.).
· Familiarity with iOS systems (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and comfort learning new software/tools.
· Knowledge of tennis is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
