CDL A Truck Driver

Summary: Our Class-A drivers are the face of our company, delivering and retrieving trailers of pallets to and from our local customers. This role requires adherence to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record. This position would be approximately 50 hours a week, depending on the workload. The local driving allows drivers to be home each night.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate semi-tractor trailer to transport pallets to designated locations
• Follow all D.O.T regulations, including preforming pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring mechanical safety and compliance with regulations
• Secure loads of pallets properly using straps or other methods to prevent shifting or loss during transit
• Follow designated routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate traffic, weather, or other factors
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery activities, completing necessary paperwork and documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and logistics
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies, including hours of service requirements and safety protocols
• Handle loading and unloading as needed, ensuring proper handling and care
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents promptly, following proper procedures for documentation and reporting
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing basic maintenance and cleaning tasks as needed

Qualifications/Skills:

• Must have a valid CDL-A license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CDL Class A driving position
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must pass all pre-employment drug tests and physicals
• Knowledge of D.O.T regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to operate and maneuver commercial vehicles safely in various driving conditions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members and customers
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Cyntrx experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45.0 per week
