Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Front Desk & Program Support Assistant to join our team This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with program support duties, ensuring smooth daily operations . This role is the first point of contact for families, youth, and visitors and plays an important role in ensuring families feel welcomed, informed, and supported. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, ready to create a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet families, youth, staff, and visitors warmly and professionally (English & Spanish)
- Manage front desk operations during program hours
- Answer and direct phone calls and general inquiries
- Support student sign-in and sign-out procedures
- Assist with program registration and surveys
- Receive, log, and organize packages and deliveries
- Provide short-term, supportive supervision for students in the lobby during transitions
- Share verbal reminders and promote upcoming programs and events
- Assist with basic administrative tasks (copying, filing, data entry)
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby area
This role follows established safety protocols and works under staff guidance. It does not provide medical care, discipline, or instructional support.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal communication required)
- Experience in customer service, front desk, or administrative support preferred
- Experience working with youth, families, or in community-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a busy environment
- Proficiency in computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data entry tools.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow procedures
- Willingness to complete required background checks
