Full Time Host

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Full Time Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and experience in hospitality or food service environments. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience through attentive service and efficient seating management.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage wait times effectively
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus promptly
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements
• Taking reservations and returning voicemails
• Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Support guest services by providing information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST & Resy
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for guest interactions
• Experience in hotel or restaurant environments is advantageous
• Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends and evenings as needed

Expected hours: 30.0 per week

Work Location: In person
