Lead Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead to oversee our new kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with menu planning, and food preparation.

Duties

• Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality and presentation meet our dining expectations.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on best practices in food handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques.
• Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels for kitchen operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health regulations.
• Provide exceptional service during meal times, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience and knowledge of equipment in a no hood kitchen
• Strong knowledge of cleaning, food safety regulations and best practices in food handling with a CFPM
• Experience in menu planning
• Background in restaurant service is a plus.
• Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
