Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Assist in menu planning and daily meal preparation for various service periods
• Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
• Support food service operations, including plating, garnishing, and portion control
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Assist with catering events and special menu requests as needed
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurant or fine dining settings
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with menu planning and food presentation excellence
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus
• Previous experience in catering, serving, or the food industry is advantageous
