Duties

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel instantly at home
• Manage waitlists efficiently using POS systems
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu and specials
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring smooth flow of guest seating and wait times
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate seating arrangements and special requests
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive overall experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host or host in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and guest services standards
