• Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand when necessary.
• Ensure all items are cleaned to health and safety standards, free of debris and residue.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station, including proper storage of clean items.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed.
• Support the cleaning of kitchen surfaces, floors, and other areas to uphold sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy service times to ensure timely dish turnaround.
• Handle food handling responsibilities with care and adhere to all safety protocols related to food service and catering operations.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or moving supplies.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Experience with bussing tables or supporting catering events is a plus.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food preparation processes is advantageous.
