Job Summary
The Sr. Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. This senior-level role requires deep technical expertise in cloud architecture, identity and access management, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for innovation and a strong commitment to operational excellence in cloud services.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure, including virtual networks, computers, storage, and identity services.
- Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
- Implement and maintain security controls, compliance policies, and governance frameworks across Azure and M365 environments.
- Automate cloud operations using tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, GraphQL, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks like ARM or Bicep.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications and infrastructure deployments.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security posture using Azure Monitor, Sentinel, and Defender.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud-based application deployments and migrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to enhance performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Document cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Deploy SQL stored procedures and views to production environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience with Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) accepted.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell or similar tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- This position is a remote position with occasional work from the office for business need. The position will require off-hour availability and on-call support.
