Senior Attorney

We are a growing firm, looking for an Senior Attorney to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for someone who has 4+ years of experience, with previous insurance defense and premises liability experience.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience
• 2+ years of insurance defense experience
• Previous deposition experience
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients.
• Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies.
• Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings

The annual salary for this position is between 170k-220k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
