RESPONSIBILITIES

The Acquisitions Analyst position will assist in the acquisition of investment properties across various markets and will entail the following:

  • Creating proformas using Argus and Excel
  • Drafting offers
  • Reviewing leases, purchase contracts, and other legal documents
  • Collecting and analyzing due diligence information
  • Market analysis and forecasting
  • Creating loan and equity request packages
  • Creating investment committee packages to present to senior executives
  • Business analysis
  • Creating contract exhibits
  • Work closely with the acquisitions, asset management, legal, and other teams to assist with the many other duties involved in acquiring commercial assets

To be able to perform the job, this individual will have the following:

  • Demonstrated understanding of financial topics and experience underwriting commercial real estate assets
  • Proven Excel skills and competency utilizing complex formulas
  • Proven writing and verbal communication skills; with sound judgment are a must
  • Knowledge of Argus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Limited travel to visit potential acquisition deals is required

QUALIFICATIONS

We anticipate this position will be demanding; therefore, we seek candidates who are:

Must have CRE experience


•Driven and ambitious


•Self‐motivated


•Creative and highly analytic problem solvers; ability to quickly digest information on new markets and complex projects


•Undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or Economics (or related work experience)


•Excellent MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, communication, and writing skills


•Strong Argus valuation software skills


•Interest and/or experience in commercial real estate investments


•1-3+ years of commercial real estate underwriting and investment experience


•Strong research skills
