Role Overview
We're looking for a motivated and ambitious Client Engagement & Business Development Associate to help us grow our client base, deepen customer relationships, and deliver impactful platform experiences. This is a hybrid role that combines consultative sales, client support, and product engagement — perfect for someone with strong communication skills, a recruiter's mindset, and an interest in tech.
You'll work directly with the VP of Revenue Operations and cross-functional teams to drive new business, onboard customers, and improve the overall client experience.
Core Responsibilities by Skill AreaSales Development & Prospecting
· Identify and qualify recruitment firms and staffing agencies that would benefit from our EOR solutions
· Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, outbound automation tools, and cold outreach to book meetings with decision-makers
· Manage lead lists using a tiered prioritization strategy (A/B/C accounts)
· Maintain CRM hygiene and track engagement metrics throughout the sales funnel
· Book and coordinate virtual and in-person meetings with new prospects
Consultative Selling & Product Demos
· Deliver compelling product walkthroughs that align our platform capabilities with agency workflows
· Confidently communicate our value proposition, including onboarding support, compliance, and operational lift
· Guide prospects through the entire sales lifecycle — from discovery to close
· Overcome objections with clarity and relevance based on real-world staffing pain points
Client Onboarding & Success
· Serve as a key contact during the initial onboarding phase for new clients
· Explain onboarding workflows (W-2 compliance, benefits setup, insurance, etc.) in a clear and consultative way
· Coordinate closely with internal operations teams to ensure seamless transitions from signed deals to live clients
· Help deliver platform training to new customers and gather feedback for continuous improvement
· Schedule recurring touchpoints with existing clients, including virtual check-ins and occasional in-person visits
Pipeline Management & Performance
· Keep a healthy and growing pipeline with at least 3–5 qualified new leads added monthly
· Regularly review sales metrics with leadership to optimize outreach and closing rates
· Proactively identify opportunities for upselling or client expansion
· Contribute to sales playbook iterations and suggest outreach or positioning experiments
Tech Enablement & Automation
· Use CRM and email automation tools to run campaigns and log communications
· Provide input on sales and onboarding processes to help automate repeatable tasks and reduce manual effort
