Duties

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold health and safety standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients for kitchen staff.
• Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during busy service hours to keep the dining area organized.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene compliance across all tasks.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to support overall food service operations in a hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Knowledge of basic cleaning protocols and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen.
