Housekeeping

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough residential cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care to maintain the appearance and hygiene of various surfaces.
• Launder linens and other items as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
• Manage housekeeping duties in accordance with established standards for quality and safety.
• Assist in custodial tasks within commercial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Prepare simple meals when required, demonstrating basic cooking skills.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility or home.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Experience

• Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Skills in carpet cleaning and floor care techniques are advantageous.
• A background in custodial services or hotel housekeeping is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
