Duties

• Safely operate a box truck to complete delivery routes.
• Load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Verify shipment contents against delivery paperwork, ensuring accuracy before departure.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.

Experience

• Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred, especially with route driving responsibilities.
• Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with loading/unloading procedures and equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Valid Maine driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating box trucks is desirable.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) occasionally and perform moving tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
