We are looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our growing logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Picker/Packer, you will be integral to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately selected and meticulously prepared for shipment. This role requires efficiency, precision, and a strong commitment to quality. You'll work in a dynamic warehouse environment, contributing to customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order processing. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are required to adhere to strict safety guidelines and utilize appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). This is an excellent entry-level opportunity within the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order requirements, using scanning devices or pick lists.
- Verify product details to ensure the correct items are selected.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently, using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation to packages.
- Conduct quality checks on picked and packed items.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding work area.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of inventory when needed.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock management activities.
- Strictly follow all safety rules and regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily order fulfillment goals.
- Support the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse or picking/packing experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to wear and use necessary PPE.
