We are hiring a Material Handler for our busy logistics center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. If you are a strong, dependable individual with experience in warehouse environments, this could be the perfect fit for you. Your main responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products throughout the facility. You will operate various material handling equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of our logistics operations. We place a high emphasis on safety, and all employees are required to wear appropriate PPE and follow all established safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience with forklifts and other warehouse machinery, possess excellent physical stamina, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting. If you are a team player dedicated to maintaining an organized and safe workplace, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities include: Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other lifting devices safely and efficiently. Loading and unloading materials from trucks and shipping containers. Storing inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper organization. Retrieving materials for order fulfillment or production needs. Performing regular checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order. Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor and storage areas. Adhering to all company safety policies and using required PPE. Assisting with inventory counts and stock management. Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors. This position requires the ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. A strong understanding of logistics and warehouse best practices is beneficial.
