Join our team in San Francisco, California, as an Order Picker! We are searching for a highly organized and efficient individual to accurately retrieve items from our warehouse stock to fulfill customer orders. This role is critical to our supply chain and requires a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their correct orders promptly. A commitment to safety and efficiency is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick items from warehouse shelves using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory control through accurate picking and reporting discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet established picking quotas and performance standards.
- Communicate any issues or challenges encountered during the picking process to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory management is a plus.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and the consistent wearing of required PPE.
