We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our advanced facility in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of our warehouse equipment and systems, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that all machinery operates safely and effectively. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical aptitude, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a deep understanding of warehouse Safety standards. This is a critical role for ensuring the smooth functioning of our supply chain. We are committed to fostering a Safe and technologically advanced work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and work areas.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
- Operate various tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Assist in the implementation of new equipment and technologies within the logistics framework.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may impact operations.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse operations and Safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a relevant technical field is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of Safety procedures and regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment and logistics systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Capable of performing moderate Lifting and working in physically demanding conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
