Job Summary:
We're looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin! This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, carefully picking them, and then packing them securely for shipment. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work at a steady pace. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
  • Verify picked items against order sheets to ensure correctness.
  • Package products securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
  • Label packages for shipment according to company and carrier guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks, safely.
  • Adhere strictly to all Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Report any stock discrepancies or quality issues to management.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks as directed.
  • Support the broader logistics team to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in picking and packing or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting tasks, typically up to 35 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics principles.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
