We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your efficiency and attention to detail are critical to our customer satisfaction and overall warehouse operations. This position requires the ability to work quickly and accurately in a dynamic environment, often involving significant amounts of lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack selected items carefully to ensure they arrive undamaged.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Stage completed orders for the shipping department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and stock counts.
- Meet performance standards for picking accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order details.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills.
