Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and verify contents.
- Stock merchandise onto shelves and designated storage areas.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock takes.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Properly use all required PPE to ensure personal and team safety.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet operational targets in our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Must possess the physical stamina for manual labor.
- Capability for frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
- Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills.
- Willingness to wear all necessary PPE as required by safety protocols.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory flow is a plus.
