Become a vital part of our operations as a Picker/Packer in Colorado Springs, Colorado! This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You'll be responsible for locating, picking, and packing items from our warehouse shelves, ensuring each order is assembled correctly and prepared for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using order sheets or scanning equipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping according to carrier requirements.
- Prepare orders for outgoing logistics, staging them in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and picking/packing area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Contribute to overall team efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, walking, reaching, and bending for long periods.
- Must have the ability to perform lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Willingness to follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
