You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently unload and receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect inventory for damage and discrepancies, reporting any issues promptly.
- Accurately store and organize products within the distribution center, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Pick products from designated locations to fulfill customer orders with speed and precision.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for logistics partners, applying correct labels and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas, adhering to safety protocols.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times as mandated by safety guidelines.
- Participate in regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet performance targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, lift, bend, and reach as needed.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Commitment to following all safety procedures and utilizing required PPE.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
