We are seeking dedicated Order Pickers to join our busy distribution center in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is vital to our supply chain, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your primary responsibilities will include using handheld scanners and order pick lists to retrieve merchandise from warehouse locations. You'll be expected to meet productivity targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Careful handling of products to prevent damage is crucial. This position involves a significant amount of physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout your shift. Safety is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. Experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals. You will work collaboratively with your team to ensure orders are picked, packed, and staged for shipment in a timely manner.
