Prior experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous, and we offer thorough training to all new hires. We emphasize safe work practices, including correct lifting techniques and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming warehouse items.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse machinery and equipment safely, as trained.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting and the use of PPE.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets.
- Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Must be able to perform lifting duties up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to following safety regulations and utilizing PPE.
- Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics is beneficial.
