Join our team in Huntsville, Alabama, as an Order Picker. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. You will utilize RF scanners, pick lists, and other warehouse equipment to navigate the facility and retrieve items. Efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to Safety are paramount in this position. This role is fundamental to our daily operations and ensures our customers receive their correct orders promptly. We value teamwork and provide a safe working environment where your contributions to our Logistics chain are recognized.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Use RF scanners and other technology to locate and track inventory.
- Ensure picked items are handled with care and prepared for packing.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or damaged items to supervisors.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Understand and follow all company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Perform tasks that involve regular Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret product information and pick lists.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving physical stamina and consistent Lifting .
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
