Our state-of-the-art facility near downtown *Portland* is seeking a skilled clinician to join our patient centered team. *The Opportunity*
* *Advanced Technology:* Work with the latest technologies including digital radiography (intraoral and CBCT), 3D intraoral scanning (CEREC, PrimeScan II), 3D printers (Nightguards and surgical guides), dental laser (hard tissue ErYAG) and electronic patient record/charting systems.
* *Clinical Autonomy:* Lead your cases with full clinical judgment, supported by an experienced team of assistants and hygienists.
* *FT Denturist and in-house lab*: minimal/no lab fees, nor time in dental lab for denture design or adjustments.
* *Premier Location:* Located minutes from downtown, offering easy access to Portland's world-class dining and waterfront.
*Duties*
* Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, restorations, crown/bridge, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
* Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical and dental histories, performing oral examinations, and utilizing medical imaging techniques.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and dental diagnosis.
* Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
* Provide pediatric dentistry services when applicable.
* Execute dental fabrication tasks including crowns, bridges, and nightguard design.
* Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
* Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care.
* Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
*Requirements*
* Valid Maine state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate General Dentist.
* Valid DEA number and credentials to prescribe.
* Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control procedures, medical imaging techniques, and aseptic techniques.
* Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations.
* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding medical records and patient privacy.
* Prior experience working in a dental clinic or similar healthcare setting is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $200,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 18.0 – 36.0 per week
